Quebec paycheck calculator

Quebec employment is computed by a SEPARATE sub-engine (Revenu Québec rules), never blended with the CRA one: QPP and QPP2, EI at the reduced Quebec rate, QPIP, federal tax after the Quebec abatement, and Quebec income tax.

Gross annual wages for this job; the engine splits it by pay frequency.

How often a paycheque is issued.

Precomputed matrix: Quebec × 3 salaries × 2 pay frequencies, Revenu Québec sub-engine only. The same Quebec cases are also offered in the Canada calculator's province selector.

Why this rate: Retraite Québec — QPP 2026 basic data.

Methodology, limits and sources

Rates verified on 2026-10-25 (primary sources listed per line).

Revenu Québec sub-engine: QPP, QPP2 and QPIP follow Retraite Québec's and Revenu Québec's published 2026 parameters, and Quebec income tax follows Revenu Québec's official formula guide TP-1015.F (2026 edition). The engine was arbitrated against Revenu Québec's WebRAS simulator under that guide (arbitration closed in October 2026): it now reproduces WebRAS to the cent on the official sample cases.

Data status

Quebec parameters: primary-verified — QPP, QPP2, EI and QPIP read against Retraite Québec's and Revenu Québec's publications, and the Quebec income-tax formula arbitrated against the TP-1015.F formula guide and WebRAS, with agreement to the cent on the arbitrated cases (status: primary-verified).

Scope

If you work in Quebec but live in another province — or the reverse — income tax follows your province of residence on December 31: the Canada paycheck calculator states the residence rule in its methodology.
